Linda (Critser) Parks was born on December 19, 1946 in Mount Lebanon, PA, to William and Lois (Smith) Critser. The household moved to Lemmon, SD when Linda was a baby and ended up settling in Huron, SD. She graduated from Huron Excessive Faculty after which continued her training at Augustana Faculty and South Dakota State College the place she earned a level in Textile and Clothes. In highschool Linda met Ron Parks as a camper on the Lake Poinsett United Methodist Church camp. It wasn’t till she returned later as camp workers that she found Ron was not solely her finest pal however the love of her life. Ron and Linda have been married on October 5, 1968. They welcomed their first baby, William M “Invoice” Parks on July 25, 1969. Ron and Linda lived in DeSmet, SD right now the place Ron taught and coached at the highschool. On December 18, 1970, they welcomed their second baby, Michele L Parks, into the household. They moved to Mitchell, SD in 1972 when Ron took a training and instructing place at Dakota Wesleyan College. Linda went again to high school and accomplished a music training diploma from DWU. Linda liked music and theater. She taught elementary music in any respect 4 elementary colleges in Mitchell and was concerned in lots of musical and theater productions. Her love of music and worship would grow to be a spotlight in her life as she and Ron began Phrase of Life Christian Ministries in 1982. All through her life, Linda devoted herself to serving to and praying for others. She liked learning scripture, her travels to Israel and sharing the love of Jesus with others! Her grandchildren keep in mind her as all the time being there to cheer them on, giggle and play with them, and assist educate them. Linda and Ron constructed a basis for his or her household that continues to develop by way of new generations.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ron Parks; her youngsters: William (Tammy) Parks of Mitchell and Michele (Aaron) Cork of Sioux Falls; grandchildren: Zachary (Bethany) Parks, Dubuque, IA, Natalie Parks, Olympia, WA, Tim (Makenzie) Parks, Lincoln, NE, Emily Parks and Nicholas Parks, Sioux Falls, Abigail Parks, Mitchell, Dawson Cork, Brady Cork, and Sydney Cork of Sioux Falls; great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Avonlea Parks, Dubuque, IA; and a sister Colleen (Paul) Gryte, Ames, IA.

Linda was preceded in loss of life by her dad and mom, brother William Critser Jr, and sisters Nancy Johnson, and Susan Road.
