Ellis Crockett, age 75, of Erie, handed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, surrounded by his loving household. He was born in Houston, Mississippi, January 18, 1948, to the late Hughnette Crockett.

Ellis was a graduate of East Excessive Faculty. He was employed At Continental Rubbers, Nationwide Forge and later retired from Higher Baked Meals after 20 years of service. Ellis was previously a member of Shiloh Baptist Missionary Church the place he served on the Deacon Board for 10 years and was a member of the Male Refrain. He later grew to become a member of Phrase of Life Christian Middle Worldwide the place he continued his service to Christ as a Deacon and member of the Intercessory Prayer Workforce.

Ellis beloved spending time together with his grandchildren and nice grandson. He loved outside actions reminiscent of hen watching, fishing, and gardening. He was a film buff who beloved the good classics and was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Ellis would gladly lend an ear to buddies, household and strangers alike. He at all times provided considerate and beneficiant phrases of encouragement. Ellis beloved to check the phrase of God and share the gospel with anybody who would hear. He was led by the Lord Jesus Christ in all that he did. He may typically be discovered within the wee hours of the night time or early within the morning studying his bible and learning to point out himself permitted unto God 2 Timothy 2:15.

Along with his mom, Ellis was preceded in dying by his sister, Brenda Heidelberg.

He’s survived by his loving spouse of fifty years, Irene Crockett, three youngsters, Ellis Crockett, Jamila Crockett, and Rasia Crockett, three grandchildren, Amara, Savion, and Mya and great-grandson, Aidan. Additional survived by two aunts, Doris Neal and Barbara Hinton, one uncle, Ellis Crockett and lots of nieces and nephews.

Mates could name on Thursday, January twenty sixth, 2023 on the Phrase of Life Christian Middle Worldwide, 660 Hess Ave, Erie PA 16503 from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at 12:00 midday. Interment will comply with at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
