Floyd Younger Life, the native nonprofit Christian outreach ministry for youth, is fundraising for an identical grant of as much as $15,000.
The grant is being awarded by a regional nonprofit that may match each $2 raised from the Floyd group between now and June 30 with a $1 donation. The group will have fun the kick off the fundraiser with its annual Spring Drive-Via Spaghetti Dinner from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, on the Floyd United Methodist Church (417 E. Most important St.).
Take-out and boxed spaghetti meals will embody selfmade spaghetti and sauce with meat from Slaughter’s Grocery store, domestically made desserts, bread by Mickey G’s and bottled water.
