PEMBROKE TOWNSHIP, In poor health. (WLS) — A fireplace broke out Friday morning at a vacant church in Pembroke Township, police stated.
The hearth began round 2:30 a.m. at Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church within the 3900-block of South Essential Road, police stated. The constructing was totally engulfed when police and firefighters arrived on the scene.
Nobody was contained in the church on the time of the hearth, police stated. Firefighters labored to place out the flames by pouring water on the constructing.
